How can we track the most relevant climate-tech news across Europe?

I’m not a big fan of just posting Sifted and Carbon Brief news - they are too focused on catchy headlines and lots of negative news.

I want to cover opportunities:

• New legislation

• New funds

• Relevant LinkedIn content

• Deep dives (e.g. Ben James’ articles)

• Major discoveries and breakthroughs

• Ecosystem news

• … what else?

I don’t want to cover:

• Promotional press releases

• Doomsday news

• “The top 10 founders to watch out for”

Any ideas how to best do this?

Some ideas:

• Somehow finetune a Feedly news aggregation with their AI → Extract it via Make.com, insert it on inClimate.com/news and let an LLM add tags? Not sure this can really identify the most relevant news?

• LinkedIn news feed scraper based on trending posts with certain key words or based on certain profiles?

• Build individual RSS feed scrapers for certain online publications?

Challenges:

• How to filter for relevant news?

• I’m not finding good sources that focus on the content I listed above
